FW45: the walk-behind for demanding workloads
The FW45 dual hydrostatic walk-behind mower was built from the ground up to meet the demands of professional mowing crews. The new design gives this mower smoother and more user-friendly operation. Featuring a cruise control bar, independent retraction lever steering, thumb controlled speed override, foot operated return-to-neutral controls and a speed indicator. The super tough built, 6mm thick engine deck, offers a low centre point of gravity and a wide stance that result in unparalleled traction and stability.
FW45 Features
Easy Deck Adjustment
The deck is easily adjusted by the single-point quick adjust lever which can be locked away securely.
Even Belt Tension
Deck drive belt system is designed to provide even belt tension which improves the life of the belt and reduces maintenance.
Centralized Foot Control
New centralised foot control for neutral position provides the operator with a more natural control. The neutral position is identified on the speed indicator on the dash.
Improved Deck Mounting
The new mower deck mounting system provides easier deck levelling, improved flexibility over terrain, and more durable wear points for reduced maintenance.
No Need to Restart
New PTO (blade) switch allows the operator to stop the mower blades simply by putting the mower in the neutral position and releasing the operator presence handles, while the engine continues to run..
Transmission guards
Narrow transmission guards reduce debris built up to improve airflow and allow for access to the oil filter for maintenance

I bought this about a month ago and absolutely love it.
It cuts so much faster and better than my old Ferris comfort control which I thought was the best. I looked at this this compared to Exmark and this had better features for a cheaper price!
The Ferris crank design to raise/lower the deck is awesome makes the job so much easier. I strongly recommend this mower to and homeowner or any lawn service looking for a new machine.
This mower is top notch if you like a smooth cut and awesome stripes even without a stripe kit.

Before my FW35, I used a 48 inch gear drive walk-behind mower. When I used this mower, I constantly dealt with belts slipping and it was exceptionally difficult to mow hillsides.
With the FW35, I can mow on these hillsides and I can feel as if I am always in control of the unit.
I can mow up and down hills and turn left and right while maintaining control.
Other aspects of the mower that I appreciate are the foot brakes and the hand brake to ensure additional safety. The wide stance of this model improves the stability of the machine.

Just got my FW35 and after 1 week of mowing with it I can honestly say its the best walk behind I’ve ever run.
I’ve used Exmarks for years and loved them but the FW35 runs and cuts so smooth that I am converted.
The things that have impressed me the most are when you put the mower into gear there is no initial jerk or jump just smooth acceleration and the same when engaging the PTO for the blades. The blades just smoothly engage with no jolt or snapping sound you get with the Exmark.
Bottom line is my lawns look fantastic beautiful clean lines (without the stripping kit) and a nice clean cut. I can confidently say that as I grow I will be growing with Ferris Mowers.
You cant beat the quality of the machine or the results it gives you and you certainly cant beat the price. Thank You Ferris!!!
